Dr. Satya Gautam Vadlamudi

Founder & CEO

Dr. Satya Gautam Vadlamudi, PhD, CFA, CIPM, is the Founder and CEO of Elystar Investment Management, a SEBI-registered, innovation-driven investment advisory firm offering wealth management solutions for HNIs and institutions.

Education: Dr. Vadlamudi is an alumnus of both the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur and Harvard University. He earned his B.Tech. (Hons.) and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI) from IIT Kharagpur, and completed the Senior Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.

Dr. Vadlamudi is also a CFA® charterholder and holds the CIPM® designation from the CFA Institute. In addition, he holds the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Certification and the Investment Adviser Certifications from the National Institute of Securities Markets.

Work Experience: Dr. Vadlamudi has held leadership roles, including Vice President and Head of Data Science & Artificial Intelligence at Prefr, where his team developed award-winning AI products for credit inclusion and risk assessment. He also led the Data Science division at Capillary Technologies, launching AI-powered analytics, personalized recommender systems and campaigns for retail businesses. Earlier roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at Arizona State University, Software Engineer at Google, and Research Scientist at Intel Labs.

Research: He has been granted multiple patents for his innovations, and has published several peer-reviewed articles in top international research forums. His contributions span AI state-space search, combinatorial search, diverse solution generation, explainable AI, parallel computing, fault-tolerance analysis, and dependable systems, with novel applications in spatio-temporal data mining, cybersecurity (using game theory), and defense decision support.

Awards: Dr. Vadlamudi’s accolades include the Pratibha Award from the Government of Andhra Pradesh, the SAP Labs Doctoral Fellowship, and the 40 Under 40 Data Scientists Award by Analytics India Magazine. He has been an invited speaker at prestigious venues like the Aerospace Luminary Lecture Series by the Aeronautical Society of India and served on program committees for top-tier AI research conferences such as IJCAI and AAAI. He was ranked among the top 50 in India in the IIT JEE Screening of 2004.

Principal Officer

Principal Officer

Mr. Venkateswara Rao Gunda (G. V. Rao) serves as the Principal Officer of the Elystar Investment Adviser department. He brings with him a distinguished 38-year career in banking with the Central Bank of India, most recently serving as Deputy General Manager (Treasury). His extensive experience includes over nine years in the Investments and Treasury Management domain, where he was responsible for managing assets exceeding INR 1.5 lakh crore (USD 20 billion).

Mr. Rao holds several academic and professional qualifications, including an MBA in Finance from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Advising from the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF), and a B.Sc. and L.B. from Andhra University. Additionally, he is certified as an Investment Adviser (Level 1 and Level 2) by the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM).
